The Groom’s Guide to Finding the Perfect Morning Suit

Grooms are traditionally restricted to either wearing the lounge suit or the morning suit. To help you pick the perfect wedding suit, we’re providing you with information on one of the most popular wedding suit styles available: the morning suit.
The Morning Suit

A morning suit is a type of three-piece suit that includes a tailcoat, a waistcoat and pinstriped trousers. Usually, when you don a black tailcoat, you’re expected to wear a gray or another contrasting colored waistcoat.
Traditionally, you’re also supposed to pair your morning suit with a white wing collar shirt complete with a cravat, but if you’re feeling a bit uncomfortable with the highly-formal getup, you could wear a wonderful tie and a plain white shirt to wear with your distinguished and fashionable attire.
Accessorizing Your Suit

If you’re wearing a top hat on your wedding, remember that you’re only supposed to wear your hat for your photo-ops. You’re not obligated to eat with your hat on or to interact with guests wearing a splendid but slightly over the top top hat.
When to Wear It?
The morning suit is the perfect attire for ultra-formal weddings. For informal weddings or outdoor ceremonies, you might want to pick a lounge suit over the three-piece and highly traditional morning suit.

Are they the same suits that the conductors wear during their performace? The long backs and the coat-tails makes me think so. But then again I'm not really a fashion person so I could be wrong.
