Wedding Accessories: The Shoe Factor

Posted on August 7th, 2008 by

Shoes play a big part on your life — you can’t deny that. They’re simply addicting. With that, you know you aren’t a completely happy bride without the perfect pair of shoes. Focus on your shoes this time and put hair accents, pouches or jewelries to rest.

Choosing the Right Pair of Shoes

You can always buy a pair of shoes that seems to be designed with you in mind, but it is better to have custom-made shoes to make sure that they match your wedding dress. Wedding dress designers sometimes work with shoemakers, but you can find brilliant shoemakers who can work without the wedding dress designer.

You are going to use those shoes for dancing, walking and standing for long hours. Customizing your shoes is not just about having an accessory that matches your dress. It is also about wearing a pair which you are sure to give you greatest comfort for walking down the aisle.

Custom-made shoes seem like the right option, but do you know if they are more expensive than regular shoes? My feet are quite big, so I may have trouble finding the shoes that fit me for my sister's wedding. I think I'll go for custom-made shoes just to be sure.
