There are a lot of ways to be stylish on formal occasions, especially at weddings. The only thing to think about is how you handle your style. If you’re a guy, one of the areas where you can explore your fashion creativity (without straying too far from the wedding’s overall theme) is with your tie. It may sound humorous at first, but there are many fashionable alternatives to the black tie.

One of the more unusual, but still appropriate ties you can wear to weddings is the suede tie. Suede is a type of fabric made to look and feel like leather. It can be made from real animal skin, like sheep or cattle, but it may also come from synthetic material. Suede usually comes in a tanned, brushed finish. Aside from ties, suede can be used for vests, shoes and other garments. One main downside of suede is that it stains and becomes dirty easily, although new, stain-proof versions are available.

Recently, suede ties have become increasingly popular for weddings, especially outdoor, garden ceremonies. It doesn’t take a genius to learn how wear a suede tie; in fact, a typical suede tie can be worn like any ordinary tie. There are many suede tie variations, however. From simple suede strings that give a western accent to your overall attire to more elaborate suede neckties and bowties, there are a lot of suede options at your disposal.
